About

I currently work for a SaaS company within the Pharma industry in Toronto. Over the past few years I have worked in IT consultancy agencies in the UK doing projects for top clients such as: Telegraph, Independent, Evening Standard and Chiltern Railway. I've also had the opportunity to work in the financial services industry for top Banks in Africa.

I am an easy going person, a team player and I like to get along with people. My definition of fun is having a couple of drinks at a pub with friends/colleagues, bowling or movies. In addition, I love watching and play football. My approach to work is driven by responsibility and passion for what I do. I pay attention to the little details and I put in my best.

UX Design

AI Ice Cream Bar

Eyeforpharma organizes one of the biggest pharmacy and life sciences event annually. The marketing department wanted a way to drive traffic to our stand in order to showcase our product, especially the analytical and predictive capabilities.

The AI ice cream bar captures a users facial expresion and uses it to recomend an ice cream. The algorithm itself learns and adapts the more people use it. The solution takes advantage of a camera and infrared sensor to intitate the process. The process from start to finish is under 30s to ensure we don't have a long queue or get users frustrated.

Omnipresence Impact 1

Omnipresence is a customer experience management platform for life sciences with emphases on commercial, KAMs, MSLs and Marketers. Omnipresence is available across numerous devices and channels.

Impact is the UX paradigm that omnipresence is built on and Impact 1 is the first version. Impact 1 focuses on simplicity, accessibility and ease of use. I primarily designed this product working with cross functional teams across the organization.

Omnipresence Impact 2

This is basically building on impact 1 after years of getting user feedback and benchmarking the UX of the product. Impact 2 fixed the negative feedback from impact 1 and also improved on all the good things with a major focus on giving users a delightful experience.

I created a design system that was applied accross our suite of products. I worked together with product, dev and qa teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery.

Xperience Planner

Directors and managers in Life sciences have a difficult task of planning the launch / rollout of products. Even with the right plan, it's impossible to gurantee adoption of the product across multiple geographies and customer segments. This is the problem Xpereince Planner aims to solve.

Mobile Banking Login Redesign

The electronic banking division of Fidelity bank extended the features of the mobile banking app to iclude mVisa and eTop-up. They wanted customers to be able to use these features without needing to login into the app, hence the redesign.

I worked closely with the product manager and together we were able to come up with multiple design concepts, and eventually narrow it down to one. The decision was based on: use of color, background image/color, contrast, user testing etc.

Online Account Opening

The project was to build an online account openining portal which enables customers to open Tier 1 Current and Savings account online. The portal collects customer details (name, address, age, BVN etc.) and in turn generates an account number.

I designed the portal and also developed the user interface.

Fidelity Bank Corporate Website & Intranet

The bank went through a rebranding excercise in 2015 and I was responsible for building a new corporate website and redesigning the intranet portal(SharePoint).

Not only did I design these applications, I also developed the User Interface and managed the project from inception to handover.

Routes & Destinations

Chiltern Railways routes and destinations page, which shows all their stations and stops was coded in Flash, therefore they received a lot of complaints from users not being able access the platform on mobile.

I had to recreate the exact same functionality (zoom in, zoom out, and navigate up down left and right) with Javascript and HTML5.

Luxury Prototype

The Telegraph newspaper decided to rebrand a section of their website called Luxury, and I was brought in on a two week contract, to help develop the prototype.

I worked closely with the business analyst and the graphic designer, in order to meet the requirement for both the Web version and the Ipad version of the site. Even though it was just a prototype the clients still wanted a major part of the functionlity done. The best thing about this project to me, was how effective my timing and estimation was, as I was able to deliver at the end of my contract.

Evening Standard Mobile

The evening standard newspaper wanted a mobile version of their website, and I was part of the team working on this project. I was the lead UI developer on this project, and I was responsible for making sure that the interface matches design and specifications.

I've got a fairly good idea about mobile development, but not on the scale of this type of project. It was challenging, but exciting. It opened my eyes to the world of mobile development and the various browsers and operating systems you have to cater for.

Independent Voices

The Independent newspaper decided to rebrand a section of their website formerly called Opinions to Voices, and I was part of the team responsible for making this happen.

This was the first project where I was completely resposible for the user Interface. Usually there might be two to three UI devs on a project, but on this particular project, I was the only one. It was scary but interesting, because it gave me an opportunity to show what I was capable of. It was a massive project, we integrated the site with Gigya and even went as far as to create a new type of comment stream (for and against).

Telegraph Olympics

The Olympics was near and Telegraph wanted to cover the events on their site. It was a massive project that involed a web version, mobile version, and mobile app.

This was my first project at First clarity. Because of the volume of the project and the little time we had to get it done, the team was massive. Nevertheless the project was a success, it went on smoothly, and both the clients and developers were trully satisfied with the work done. I had a bit part role in this project, but I still managed to work on both the web and mobile version.

TennantsUK

I was initially brought in to help develop an E-commerce site, but we started an SEO campaign which involved us building numerous applications and rebranding existing ones.

By the time I was done at TennantsUK, I was able to achieve the following: I helped complete their Newsletter form, Biult the E-commerce site, Modified the Interface of the company website and also Integrated a blog, Biult an Faq's site, Proposed a redesign and development of a clients site to improve traffic and generate sales etc. I worked mainly with the companys graphic designer (Martin Hill) and he was splendid all the way, picked up a couple of design skills from him.

First Portfolio

I built my first portfolio as a means to showcase my skills, what I had done and what I was capable of doing. It worked because things just picked up from then, and as they say the rest was history.

This was one of the most difficult project that I worked on, because I never really had any experience of developing websites so I had to learn from scratch. It was really challenging, at times I felt like giving up, it was just one obstacle after the other, and I couldn't see an end to it. I didnt give up, thank God for that.
